Pokémon Romhacking General Discussion

Here, you can talk about your Romhack, other romhacks, and just Romhacking in general.

So, I'm trying to make a Romhack of Silver where you start at Mt. Silver (with lower-leveled mons) and end off at Route 46.

Hmm, interesting. In mine, you start out in the Hoenn 15 years after the events of R/S/E. Teams Magma and Aqua are disbanded, but a new team, Team Titanium, has risen. Right now, I'm working on the Overworld maps.

For the sprites of Team Titanium? Ah.

I'm also thinking of a romhack of FireRed where you get to visit Johto (3 years earlier) instead of the Sevii Islands, and the main villains use strong Pokémon.

Yes, it should be a great hack if you add the newer and sprites from the newer Generations... xD

You mean like Gen IV sprites? Erm....I'm not that much of an experienced hacker. Also, I have no idea why, but I used ShinyGold's tiles for that hack. Credit WILL be given.

I have somesprites from the newer gen's but it's not complete yet....

Plus I can't post links until a week...

No, not trainer sprites, Pokemon Sprites from BW/BW2 completely resized to 64x64....

Oh, like Drilbur and Excadrill and Mijumaru! Again, no thanks! I don't need BW or B2W2 Pokémon sprites, like Black and White Kyurem.

Yes there are 5th gen sprites but there are also sprites that are from the 1st to 5th gen....

It has the older gen's in BW style...

Just to tell everyone, this section can also be for other hacks of other games (ex: Super Mario Bros., Final Fantasy, EarthBound), not just Pokémon.

On the other hand, revamping the entierty of FireRed with ShinyGold tiles is as hard as ****. I plan to make Johto 3 years before GSCHGSS.

To be honest with you Johnr754 the map looks too simple...

What's with that stairs lol You could've just hired a tiler...

The map does look a bit simple, I admit. I just did not want the border block (trees) to be showing.

And as for the stairs, they do look horrid, a tiler should be hired, but I didn't feel like it

Well, you could have searched for more or make your own...

I got too lazy, lol

And besides, the computer I use for hacking is broke, so it may be canceled...
